Fun Hoodwinked Movie Facts for Kids
According to WikiPedia Hoodwinked is an updated re-telling of the classic Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. The satire begins where the fable last left off, as there's always more to every tale than meets the eye! It is a politically correct 2005 American computer-animated family comedy film. It retells the folktale Little Red Riding Hood as a police investigation, using flashbacks to show multiple characters' points of view. Hoodwinked! was among the earliest computer-animated films to be completely independently funded. Working apart from a major studio allowed the filmmakers greater creative control, but also restrained them economically. Due to the film's small budget, its animation was produced in the Philippines, with a less realistic design inspired by stop motion films. Critical reception to the film was varied; although its script and cast were praised by many reviews, its animation quality was heavily criticized. The film was a commercial success, earning over thirteen times its less than-$8 million budget.
The Story About Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf
According to WikiPedia this is a European fairy tale about a young girl and a Big Bad Wolf. The story has been changed considerably in its history and subject to numerous modern adaptations and readings. The origins of the Little Red Riding Hood story can be traced to versions from various European countries and more than likely preceding the 17th century, of which several exist, some significantly different from the currently known, Grimms-inspired version. The story revolves around a girl called Little Red Riding Hood, she is named after the red hooded cape/cloak that she wears. The girl walks through the woods to deliver food to her sickly grandmother. A Big Bad Wolf wants to eat the girl and the food in the basket. He approaches Little Red Riding Hood and she naively tells him where she is going. The wolf then go to her grandma's house and eats her grandma, before eating the little girl. The story warns about how bad it is talking to strangers, as we never know their intentions.
Do Wolves eat people in real life?
Eventhough most wolves humans encounter are a kind, non aggressive to humans, high socialized, ecologically responsible. It is quite possible for a wolf to eat a human, but this is very rare. Most likely if you bump into a wolf in the forest, the wolf will turn and run away. Wolves are opportunistic hunters and because not every hunt is a successful one, they can go as long as fourteen days without eating. That is not by choice though. That being said, if someone is walking by themselves in the back country and they come across hungry wolves, the wolves are going to only see food.
